I knew she could, I knew she could! Julie rolled over from her back to her stomach this morning! I know it's a long weekend, but I was right when I said that she would do the roll before the end of the weekend!

6 month checkup

Baby girl had a good checkup today. She weighs 16lbs, 14oz and is 26 inches tall.

The size of her head is fine...it's growing on the growth curve as it should. I mean big babies have big heads, right? :) Not a happy camper with 5 sticks...one being the annual flu shot. Today's shots finished up all you are supposed to get the first year.

The Blankenship's are so blessed to have a healthy baby!!

Mommy has a new problem...

It's called making baby food! Did anyone know that this is what the inside of a papaya looks like?

Julie-boolie is eating everything that is given to her!!

Mommy is enjoying making most of Julie's foods...pureed bananas, sweet potatoes, peaches, avocados, acorn and butternut squashs, super porrige, and pears. We've had store bought peaches, prunes, and applesauce.

Sit-ups...not quite

Julie is sitting with support. She's still a bit top-heavy, but she's getting there!!

Just today, she was 98.5% over from her back to belly. I give her till the end of this long weekend before she has the 100% roll!

A warmer day in the winter...50s

We piddled around in the backyard...the dogs really enjoyed the outing, just as much as Julie!

It must be her 6 month growth spurt! The second night of the blur, Mommy nursed Julie for 50 minutes!! Sheesh, hopefully this won't last long!
