My baby isn't such a baby anymore....

After a few nights in a row of Julie coming to sleep on the floor in Mommy and Daddy's room, Mommy bribes Julie to stay in her bed. Oh, the word bribe is not a good word to use...how about "reward" Julie if she stays in her bed? Mommy gives Julie $ for her piggy bank if she stays in bed all night. And when she stays in bed for a straight week, we make a trip to Sweet Spot, the candy store. So far, we've been to the candy store two times... On the nights she doesn't stay in her bed...she tries to convince us that she stayed in her bed by happyily saying "I stayed in my bed!" when her blankets and Cabbage Patch dolls are on the floor next to me!
Good try...no, you didn't!!!

The other night, Julie said something about her “bootie”. I asked her what that was and she turned around and stuck out her butt. Mommy says “Where did you hear that?” Julie says, “Ms. Quin”! Mommy thinks that Ms. Quin is one of those that will never be forgotten!

Possible snipers on the roof!

After visiting a friend with these Star Wars guns, we stopped to buy some on the way home that night!! The guns are still being played with months later!

These will be shown to the boy that asks you to marry him!!

I love you so much...that I just had to take these photos! I even took time to make sure that those "girly bits" were not showing!!

Julie: "Mommy, I gotta throw up.”
Mommy: "Ok, let me show you where to do that.
(walking into the bathroom, pointing...) either here in the toilet or in the bathtub".
Julie: (stands over toilet, gags a bit, then says) “I can’t throw up”.
Mommy: "well, that’s good".

Later on that evening....

Julie: "I gotta throw up again".
Mommy: "Julie, did someone throw up today at Minnieland"?
Julie: "Yes, Sophia throw up".
Mommy: "Did she make it to the toilet"?
Julie: "No, she throw up on the floor".

This is Julie's favorite thing to say when I buy her clothes or shoes! She gets so excited and must try on the new item almost immediately! I love being able to buy her new things, but also love the hand-me-downs that we get from cousin Grace.
